On the seventh season of The Voice Australia in 2018, an incredibly talented young man with an old soul wowed everyone with his vocal prowess.

Josh Richards became one of The Voice Australia’s youngest competitors ever at the age of fifteen.
Josh made an immediate impression on everyone at his audition for the renowned competition’s seventh season,
despite his advanced age. He belted out the Jackson 5 classic song ‘I’ll Be There,’ brimming with talent and self-assurance.
The judges were in for a delightful surprise, despite his youth. Josh enthralled everyone with his performance on the fourth day of the season’s blind auditions.
In an instant, Boy George pressed the bell out of sheer joy, and Judge Delta put her hand on her heart, clearly moved.
The other three judges were equally impressed and, after twenty seconds, they also turned their seats and pressed their buzzers to view the young prodigy behind the voice.
When they turned around, the looks on their faces were priceless.You may be wondering how a teenager in high school could have such amazing singing ability.
Josh was no stranger to the spotlight, despite the fact that this was his first season on The Voice Australia.
He was well-known after placing first in a Melbourne singing competition for children aged 12 to 14 the year before his audition.
In a heartfelt promo for The Voice Australia, Josh shared that he’s known his dream since he was about 10 and never wanted to be anything else.
For any singer, being on The Voice and winning over all four judges is a noteworthy accomplishment.
Following Josh’s audition, judge Kelly Rowland gave him high marks, highlighting his remarkable vocal range and lively attitude.
The amount is a powerful indicator of how much his amazing talent was appreciated even at such a young age.
Josh proceeded to the next phase of the competition, but he was defeated by Trent Bell in the ‘Battle’ rounds, and he was unable to finish.
Even so, he still left a long-lasting impression on people who saw his talent and potential to be a full-time artist.
