It can be challenging to raise a young child, but sometimes you just have to learn to roll with the punches and find the humor in typical kid antics, as one Ohio woman and her two children taught her.
Colt, then 3 years old, and Kimber, then 2, are proudly raised by their mother Breana Naylor. Naylor tends to be kept on her toes by Colt and Kimber,
so when she had a chance to unwind, she took it without hesitation. According to the Mirror’s account
of the 2019 event, Naylor decided to check on her kids after not hearing them play for a while.
Naylor was shocked to see some of Kimber’s beautiful blonde hair on the floor after searching her bedroom.
She noticed the two of them hidden behind some of her clothing after searching the closet. When Naylor turned to see Colt giving Kimber
a haircut with the scissors still in his small hands, Kimber sat motionless as though the spontaneous trim had been planned.
Fortunately, Naylor had a solution in mind to handle the entire matter. In order to repair the harm Colt had inflicted while playing with his sister,
the young mother phoned her friend and hairstylist Jen Bullock. After hearing about Kimber’s hair emergency,
Naylor opted to put off talking to Bullock about making her own hair appointment for the time being.
Bullock showed up at their door immediately after Naylor contacted her, according to Naylor. After working her magic,
Bullock gave Kimber a stunning haircut that Naylor referred to as ‘rad.’ Naylor expressed her opinion that
Kimber’s new asymmetrical hairstyle better captured her personality and would possibly encourage her daughter to take more risks.
‘I’m not sure if Kimber’s hair has made her more sassy or if her hair now reflects her personality. She looks better to me today, in my opinion,’ Naylor said.
Bullock shared the ‘hair emergency’ on Instagram, while Naylor shared photographs of Kimber’s before and after on Facebook.
Thousands of users from all around the world commented on the latter’s post, praising Kimber’s appearance following her meeting with Bullock.
One user said, ‘So cute fantastic save,’ and another added, ‘Good Job Momma. Really cute, in fact!’
Despite the event, Naylor claimed that Colt and Kimber typically behave like other children, only occasionally trying to climb the pantry shelves or leap off the family’s
couch in the living room. Colt and Naylor, according to Naylor, had a conversation about never again using scissors in the presence of an adult.
